Refund policy

How refunds and chargebacks work, and what happens to gems you already spent.

01The short version

  • Purchases are delivered at once, and at checkout you agree to that and give up the right to withdraw.
  • After that, refunds are up to us, except where the law gives you a right to one. Ask at support@pickfall.com.
  • When a refund goes through, a refunded rank is removed, and we take back the gems from that purchase you haven't spent yet.
  • Your balance never goes below zero. A refund never leaves you owing gems.
  • When the checkout says "Sold through Link", Link (Stripe) can also refund you under its own policy.
  • Disputing a charge with your bank never locks or bans your account.

02At checkout

  • You confirm whether you're 18 or older. If you say you aren't, the purchase stops.
  • You agree that your purchase is delivered straight away, and acknowledge that once it's delivered you lose the right to withdraw from it, including the 14-day right in the EU and UK.
  • You see the full price in US dollars and confirm the purchase before you pay.

03When we refund

Refunds are at Pickfall's discretion, plus anything the law requires. We'll always put these right, whenever you notice:

  • Something didn't arrive, or arrived twice, or you were charged twice: we'll deliver it or refund it.
  • Pickfall+ renewed by mistake, such as straight after you tried to cancel: tell us and we'll look at it.

Pickfall+: cancel any time, without contacting us, from your purchase history in two clicks: Cancel, then confirm. If Link sold it, you can also cancel at link.com. Cancelling stops future payments. You keep the bonuses until the paid month ends.

04How to ask

Email support@pickfall.com with:

  • your Minecraft username;
  • the date and amount from your receipt;
  • what went wrong.

Refunds go back to the card or method you paid with, through Stripe.

If the checkout said "Sold through Link", Link, a Stripe company, was the merchant of record, and your receipt came from Link. You can also ask Link support for a refund. Link decides those requests under its refund policy and Sold Through Link Terms, and can refund within 60 days of the purchase, for example if something didn't arrive or you were charged without your permission. Its terms also let EU and UK consumers ask Link to cancel within 14 days of delivery. Where Link's policy is more generous than this one, Link's applies to that payment.

05What a refund does in game

When a refund or chargeback goes through:

  • A rank the purchase gave you is removed, and you go back to the rank you had before it.
  • Pickfall+ is shortened by the days that payment added.
  • Gems the purchase gave you that you haven't spent are taken back.
  • Gems you've already spent stay spent. We don't take back what you bought with them, and your gem balance never goes negative. Staff see the difference recorded on the purchase.
  • Nothing else on your account changes because of the refund: no lock, no ban, no debt.

06Chargebacks

You can always dispute a charge with your bank or card issuer, and doing so never locks or bans your account. A chargeback is treated exactly like a refund: what the purchase gave you is taken back as above, up to what you haven't used, nothing more. Writing to us first is usually faster.

07If we change or remove a paid perk

Paid perks are only rebalanced between seasons, never during one. If we ever have to remove a perk people paid for, we'll tell buyers and give them a make-good, such as gems.

08Bans

Except where the law requires otherwise, a ban for breaking the rules doesn't mean a refund. If you think a ban was a mistake, appeal it as the moderation policy says.
